It is the responsibility of competitors and teachers to follow the Rules & Regulations of the Festival. Entries are the responsibility of competitors and teachers. Errors or omissions are not the responsibility of the Festival.

All disciplines run at the discretion of the Festival, dependent on sufficient entries.

Additional rules pertaining to Composition are:

1. Composition entry forms, with the entry fees, are due by the registration deadline of January 29, 2007.  Complete manuscript(s) stating instrument(s) and title must be submitted with the entry confirmation no later that March 1, 2007.  

2. Each entry must be the original work of the person named on the entry form and on the music.

3. Entries must be a clear photocopy of the hand written or computer generated original. Originals or electronically transmitted facsimiles ar attachments will not be accepted.

4. Each entry must include:

a. tempo markings, dynamics and other appropriate musical editing.
b. measure numbers at the beginning of each line.
c. a title page including composer's name, address, composition title and date.

5. A composer may enter more than one category in the same age division.

6. A composer may enter more than one composition in each category.

7. Age of composer to be as of December 31, 2006.

8. All decisions of the adjudicator are final. All composers will receive a written adjudication and order of placement.

9. All composers are expected to perform their own works, or will arrange to have their works performed by others at the time of the scheduled classes.

10. No composition shall exceed 5 minutes.

First composition - $20.00 (incl. 3 hour workshop with composer/adjudicator)
Each Additional Composition $12.00
